ERIE, Pa. — Dillon Hildebrand, a junior from Red Lion, set records for career service aces (68) and kills (819) in volleyball matches against Penn State Altoona and Wittenberg.

Penn State Behrend’s baseball, softball, tennis, track and field, and water polo teams also were in action last week. Here are the highlights:

Carson Hauser, a senior from Westfield, New York, hit a three-run, inside-the-park home run in the second game against Pitt-Bradford. She also homered in the opener against Pitt-Bradford.

D’Youville 3, Penn State Behrend 2

Setter Anthony Sprentz, a senior from Cranberry Township, had a season-high 53 assists against Penn State Altoona. He had 51 against D’Youville.

Men’s track and field

Elijah Dangrow, a junior from Greenville, won the pole vault competition at the Carnegie Mellon Quad Meet, clearing a height of 4.52 meters. Braeden Smith, a sophomore from Erie, won the high jump with a 2.00-meter leap. Antonio Stello, a freshman from Punxsutawney, won the 100- and 200-meter races.

Women’s track and field

Emily Mischen, a freshman from Gibsonia, won the shot put event at the Carnegie Mellon Quad Meet with a 10.80-meter throw. Jenna Shelton, a senior from Cabot, won the 800-meter run, finishing in 2:22.95. Riley Crissman, a junior from Bradford, won the 3,000-meter run, finishing in 10:21.75.

Medaille 5, Penn State Behrend 4

Mitchell May, a freshman from Harbor Creek, defeated Matthew Burke at No. 4 singles, winning 6-1, 7-5. He teamed with Brent McFarland, a senior from Austinburg, Ohio, to win at No. 2 doubles.

McKendree 17, Penn State Behrend 9

Mercyhurst 19, Penn State Behrend 5

Villanova 22, Penn State Behrend 6

Lauren Wood, a senior from Vernon Hills, Illinois, led the Lions with four goals, three drawn kickouts, one steal and one assist against McKendree. She also scored four goals against Villanova.
